The resolution of legal issues through litigation and formal court action is frequently a time-consuming, expensive and emotionally difficult process. In recent years, we have seen a significant expansion in the use of other alternatives for the resolution of legal issues. Courts are now frequently requiring parties to litigation to submit the contested issues to mediation before presenting any unresolved issues to the court. At Fredrickson Johnson & Belveal, LLC, we encourage clients to consider alternative dispute resolution as a means of resolving their issues. In addition, we provide independent mediation and dispute resolution services to each of the communities we serve.

Active in Alternative Dispute Resolution, the firm provides mediation services for simple and complex civil matters. Mr. Fredrickson, who is also a municipal judge, has received mediation training from the Colorado Bar Association and Resolution Resources of Colorado. In addition, for many years he has volunteered his time mediating disputes in Fremont County Court.
